RESET with Chris in January
RECOMMIT, RECHARGE, RESET
In 2010, my friends Erron & Eric introduced me to juice cleansing as I arrived to LA for a visit, while they were on the tail end of a cleanse. Since then, I’ve done numerous cleanses – I’ve failed cleanses and had many successful cleanses. Four years ago, I started doing an annual month long juice cleanse in December. This year, I’ve decided to start 2021 by cleansing throughout the month of January. We are shifting from the idea of cleansing, to resetting. Thus we are changing our program to; “Ruby Jean’s Cold Pressed Reset”.
What I’ve learned about cleansing throughout the years, is that when we find ourselves having broken the promises we’ve made to be healthier, juice resetting is our chance to pull out the plug and hold the power button down for a few seconds. With that in mind, I’ve decided it was time for us to launch a new mindset around the judgment free moment to hit your body’s reset button. I invite you to follow along and engage with me as I share my experiences transparently, through social media and weekly blog posts such as this.
At the half way point (Friday January 15th), and at the end of my journey (Friday January 31st), I will invite anyone that purchases a Ruby Jean’s reset in January, to join me for a private roundup via zoom, where I’ll discuss my experience and provide encouragement & perspective to the group. In addition, the first 50 people to join our reset during January will receive a complimentary Ruby Jean’s reusable bottle.
I think that it’s important to be able to give ourselves the best possible shot at living a long and fruitful life. Reset your body as a way to reset the entire trajectory of your life.

MENTAL ASPECT
Staying mentally rooted during your reset for a complete reset experience.
I like to think of mental wellness as operating at our most healthy capacity at any given time. Mental wellness looks different for each person, so comparing ourselves and our well-being to someone else is not very helpful, in most cases. Also as we grow, change, and have more life experiences, our healthiest capacity varies. As a therapist, I often encourage myself and my clients to reflect on the relationship with the inner self as a measure of how well we are operating at our most healthy capacity. When we are more connected to ourselves, we increase our ability to: accept, give more grace, be present, judge less, respond in love.
While we reset and recommit to ourselves at the beginning of 2021, let’s engage in a few intentional practices together that will deepen the connection and strengthen the relationship to our inner selves.
